Stan is on a mission to inspire students to make kindness and respect a priority while encouraging them to chase their dreams and create an incredible life story.

A Passion for Teaching
2013
Stan developed a love for education during high school when he began to mentor elementary school students. This set him on the path of becoming an educator.

Taking a "Leap for Literacy"
2015
During Stan’s time as an elementary school teacher at a Title I school, he noticed that book fairs often left students in tears because many could not afford to purchase books. Longing to make a difference, he started Leap for Literacy with the mission of putting books into the hands of the children who needed them most.

The Ellen Show
2019
Stan was recognized by Ellen DeGeneres for his ongoing efforts of bringing kindness and literacy into children's lives and donated $25,000 with the goal of putting more books on the bookmobile!

A Children's Author

Stan wrote his first book with hopes to encourage students to live a life that makes their parents and teachers proud and to show students that they too, can become an author!

Share Your Story

Stan believed that every child had a story to share - this is when Share Your Story came into fruition. This program gives kids a platform to voice their ideas and stories.

The first young author, Riley Allen, sees his professionally illustrated and published book for the first time!

The Very Airy Library Takes Flight
2022
Stan’s love for literacy takes flight when he meets Jared and Matthew Young, of Brothers Young Production, where they helped get Stan's message airborne to reach more students.
