Stan developed a love for education during high school when he began to mentor elementary school students. This set him on the path of becoming an educator.

After years of delivering books to schools out of the
trunk of his car, Stan realized he needed a more efficient method. One evening while waiting tables at his part-time serving job, a guest at one of his tables was country music superstar Zac Brown. As they talked, Zac asked Stan about his work. Inspired by Stan's passion, Zac decided to help in a life-changing way. He donated his limo bus, had it completely retrofitted into a custom bookmobile, and provided enough funding to fill it from front to back with thousands of books.

Stan believed that every child had a story to share - this is when Share Your Story came into fruition. This program gives kids a platform to voice their ideas and stories.

Stan’s love for literacy takes flight when he meets Jared and Matthew Young, of Brothers Young Production, where they helped get Stan's message airborne to reach more students.
